Items that are unworn and unused, with original packaging materials and tags attached, are returnable within 30 days of original purchase date. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Upon arrival, return package are inspected and reviewed within 2 business days. If approved, a refund in the original method of payment or store credit will be processed immediately. You will be notified if there are any issues with the return.

2017 Extended Holiday Returns Policy

Items shipped between November 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017, may be returned until January 31, 2018, for a refund, subject to our other return guidelines listed below.

  • Valid only for orders made within the months of November & December, 2017 and all return requests must be made prior to January 31, 2018, submitted via our Easy Return Portal
  • Other than extended return period for the holiday season, all terms under our Return Policy still apply. See below for details.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or discard unauthorized returns. Unauthorized packages may be returned to customer at customer's expense.

My order arrived wrong or damaged. What should I do?

  • Within 2 business days of receipt, contact us on what is missing or damaged
  • Claims must be submitted within 2 business days of receipt of order to be valid
  • Please note that many natural fibers and textiles include minor inconsistencies in texture and color that are in no way considered flaws

How do I initiate a return?

  • Access your order with your order number and email address above and follow on-screen instructions
  • All requests are reviewed within 2 business days - if approved, you will receive shipping guidelines, otherwise we will contact you for more details
  • Ship packages back with tracking service
  • All returns must be received within 30 days of purchase date

How come I cannot find my order?

  • This portal is for SUMI orders only (order ID looks like "SM1234")
  • If you ordered through, please visit the old Return Center.
  • If you ordered through, please visit Amazon's Return Center

What if I want an exchange?

  • For fast processing, exchanges are done in the form of a new order
  • Return the original order & place a new order for the item you want

How soon will I get my refund?

  • We inspect all returns upon arrival at our location within 2 business days
  • Refunds are in the original method of payment
  • If questions arise during inspection, we will contact you for details

Are there any fees for returns

  • Return shipping is buyer's responsibility
  • Return Fee applies if you select Prepaid Return Label option
    • Domestic U.S. purchases - Return Fee is $7.00
    • International purchases - Return Fee depends on cost of return shipping, plus duties and taxes upon package arrival
    • Fee will be deducted from final refund
  • No fee will be incurred if buyer ships order back at own expense
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
